About SCA Architecture
•
Role of CORBA in SCA
• Developing SDR based on SCA
Background
The
Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) program
has tried to help development and porting
costs of SDR applications by requiring the
use of the Software Com-munication Architecture
(SCA) for SDR systems.
Class
Overview
This
class covers the essential concepts necessary
for a discourse on SCA, SDR, CORBA and then
deals with various components of SDR and and
interface design and specification. The course
identifies issues that need to be dealt with
in designing interface design, implementation,
initialization, configuration for realtime
and embedded systems
The
class addresses such questions as:
•
What is a SDR and SCA
• How CORBA fits into role of communication
architecture of SDR
• How to achieve SCA compliance
• Various technologies involved in developing
SDR
This
class is taught seminar-style, with a fast
flow of concepts and principles, and descriptions
of techniques.
Why
This Class?
Our
CORBA Realtime Training class will help you
quickly cover the essential concepts related
to component design and Realtime CORBA features.
However, the technology courses assume that
what you want to learn is how to implement
an already designed object/component using
the technology in question. This class fills
a critical gap in what is available elsewhere.
Audience
This
course is valuable for anyone involved in
an SCA/CORBA related project.
