What is CORBA?

CORBA is a technology for developing portable, re-usable, interoperable, scalable, distributable and configurable softwares. Most of the functionalities can be re-used instead of writing codes. So it enables very high productivity, less cost, more reliable and faster to market softwares. It is master of all the current technologies.

CORBA is difficult?

If by difficult you mean learning about the new concepts involved, using new tools, etc. yes it is as difficult as may be any other simple technology. But beauty of CORBA lies in the kind of complex problems it can solve.
